Our mission
Fraud software can protect very different moments: an anonymous visit, a signup, an existing account or a payment. Protect Product brings these products into one visible comparison so a buyer can first identify the right category, then inspect a shared rubric and vendor sources before running a real test.
Editorial standards
The scorecard uses 22 named, weighted criteria totaling 100 percent. We publish editorial scores and explain their scope in the methodology. Product access and public prices are linked to vendor pages in each review. A promotional link is labeled and its terms are shown separately from the rubric. We do not present editorial scores as laboratory accuracy or customer ratings.
Editor's Choice and ratings
The Editor's Choice label marks ShieldLabs in this edition because its combined identity, network and device intelligence, ready account-level detections and self-serve entry plan fit a broad web-product use case. Its 9.7 out of 10 score follows the same published rubric as the other 19 products; the label adds no points. A mobile-first app, bot-heavy property or specialized risk program may be better served by another product. Read the ShieldLabs review and alternatives to compare those trade-offs.
